Every morning, you review the tape.
GameTape observes how you actually work (your meetings, your work product, your habits) and each morning hands yesterday back, reviewed: where the hours went against the goals you set, and one correction you can run today. Two minutes to read. Nothing to log.
No person ever sees your screen. Screen observation happens on your Mac; only scrubbed text leaves. See how →
From the founder’s own tape. Names and projects redacted.
Three steps. Two minutes.
One tape.
Install the app
A lightweight menubar app on your Mac. Two-minute setup. A short intake, once. After that the tape does the talking.
Go to work
Through macOS accessibility, GameTape observes how you actually work: your meetings, your work product, your habits. It makes sense of all of it on your Mac, and stays out of your way.
Get coached in the morning
A debrief built from yesterday’s tape: where the hours went, one correction you can run today.
Not a tracker. Not a notetaker. The tape.
Every elite game has film.
Yours never did.
Everything that has ever advised you has run on your account of your day. But we can’t see our own patterns from inside them.
ChatGPT knows only what you tell it.
The notetaker sees the meeting, not the day.
A coach hears four hours a month, retold.
And so the same patterns go unnoticed and uncorrected, week after week.
Athletes, pilots, surgeons: in every field where performance is taken seriously, the film came before the greatness. Now you can review yours.
Your whole day,
frame by frame.
Seven decisions before 10 AM. Each one faster than the last.
87 minutes uninterrupted on the product spec. The longest block this week.
Nine minutes was the longest unbroken stretch after lunch. The investor deck stayed closed.
Third time this week the pricing page opened and closed inside two minutes.
The last two hours tracked 89% with your stated priorities.
An illustrative day on the tape.
Observed through the day. Reviewed and coached the next morning.
The whole game,
turned into coaching.
The morning debrief
Yesterday’s tape comes back as coaching: where the hours actually went against your stated goals, one pattern named and timestamped, one correction you can run today. Two minutes to read. Nothing to log.
Meeting feedback
Customer calls, 1:1s, team meetings. How much of the call you spoke, the monologue that ran long, the discovery question you never asked, the decision that closed without an owner. A discovery call is not a 1:1, and it isn’t coached like one.
Where your time actually goes
Your hours attributed to the goals and projects you set, not to apps. The gap between the priority you named and the calendar you kept, measured every day.
The weekly synthesis
Every Monday: strategy, execution and focus scored against your own baseline, the week’s bottleneck named, and one strategic move for the week ahead.
Debrief #1 is interesting.
Debrief #40 knows you.
The coach’s understanding of you deepens every week. Patterns connect across weeks, and the voice earns its way from stranger toward corner-man as trust builds, grounded in the playbooks of the world’s best experts and applied to your actual footage. And when it reads a day wrong, tell it: the correction goes on the record, and the coach carries it forward.
A stranger with good eyes. It observes, names what it sees, and hedges. “You seem to protect your mornings. Is that deliberate?”
It knows your baseline. “Fourth Tuesday the investor update slid. Last month you broke that loop by drafting before the standup. Do that today.”
An illustrative arc. Your tape, your patterns.
You hold the tape.
Review your tape.
See what changes.
Coaching built on 160+ observed hours a month, not four hours of retelling.
A human coach gives you four hours a month for $1,500 and up. GameTape is on the tape 160+ hours a month, and in your corner every morning, for $95.
- Ambient, on-device observation
- No picture of your screen reaches our servers
- Banking, passwords, private browsing skipped in code
- A morning debrief, built from yesterday
- Grounded in 32 expert playbooks
- A memory of you that compounds weekly
- One copy. Yours.
- One email and the tape is gone
- Individuals only, no employer access
Whether you’re already at the peak or early in your climb, the tape is for founders committed to always improving.
A Note from the FoundersWe built GameTape because we were the founders who couldn’t see our own blind spots. We had great coaches. We still told them a curated version of our weeks. Not because we were dishonest, but because we genuinely couldn’t see the patterns from inside them.
No one should have to coach blind. Not you, and not the person coaching you. Every serious performer has had film. Now your game does too. The tape doesn’t lie.

GameTape runs as a lightweight menubar app on your Mac. Every few seconds it observes your work through the macOS accessibility layer (the same interface a screen reader uses) and works out your context with plain code running on your machine: what you’re focused on, when you switch tasks, where patterns emerge. A handful of surfaces can’t be observed that way, and for those it sends a single screenshot to our AI partner to be described in words. Coaching arrives based on established frameworks. It sees the work the way a coach watching film would: looking for patterns, not judging frames.
Nearly always, GameTape takes no picture at all: it observes your work through macOS accessibility and makes sense of it on your own Mac, then sends only scrubbed text over an encrypted connection. No picture of your screen ever reaches our servers. For the few surfaces accessibility can’t describe, a single screenshot goes to Google Gemini, our AI partner, which describes it in words and neither retains nor trains on it; the image is then deleted. Password managers, banking and private browsing are skipped in code, and anything sensitive is scrubbed before it leaves. You own the tape, you control what gets observed, and you can pause anytime from the menubar. See exactly how →
No. GameTape coaches you every morning whether or not you have a human coach. If you have one, they get a copy of every debrief and weekly synthesis and walk into each session having already watched the film: real footage instead of a curated narrative.
Trackers chart hours and apps. GameTape coaches you on why it matters. We don’t show charts of hours and apps. We name the patterns (the Tuesday reactive loop, the avoidance behavior around your investor deck, the post-lunch conviction drop) and apply coaching frameworks to help you break them.
Your first debrief arrives the morning after you install, built from your first day on the tape. Multi-day patterns need about a week of footage before they’re worth naming, and the coach’s read on you deepens every week after that.
Every other kind of coaching runs on what you report. A human coach gets four hours a month of your retelling; a chat assistant knows only what you type into it. GameTape observes the work itself: your meetings, your work product, your habits. It coaches from that. Athletes have had film for fifty years. This is the first time a founder’s game has been on it.
You can’t improve what you don’t see.
