Three steps. Two minutes.
One tape.

1

Install the app

A lightweight menubar app on your Mac. Two-minute setup. No browser extensions, no integrations, no configuration.

2

Go to work

GameTape observes your work through macOS accessibility every few seconds and makes sense of it on your Mac. You won't even notice it's there.

3

Review the tape

Daily coaching debriefs each morning. Named patterns. Frameworks applied to your actual work.

Not a dashboard. Not a time tracker. Not a productivity tool. The observation layer.

Your coach has never
seen you play.

The average executive coach costs $1,500/month and sees you 4 hours. They coach a version of you filtered through memory and ego.

You self-report. You tell a curated story. Not because you're dishonest — because you can't see your own patterns from inside them.

Your coach coaches blind. They've never watched your Tuesday afternoon. Never seen the 90-minute Slack loop.

The same patterns repeat. The avoidance behavior. The gap between stated priorities and actual calendar. Week after week.

No athlete would accept this. No professional coach in sports would rely on the athlete's memory. They watch the tape.

Coaching arrives when the tape
shows something worth pausing for.

Sarah was doing fine.
Everyone thought so.

Her board thought so. She thought so. Then she saw the tape.

Before the tape

Every Tuesday after lunch, Sarah fell into a reactive loop — bouncing between Slack, email, and Figma for 2+ hours. Her investor deck got an average of 12 minutes of attention. She described herself as "productive."

After 3 weeks

GameTape named the pattern on Day 3. By week 2, her Tuesday focus blocks averaged 94 minutes. Her investor deck went from "in progress" for 6 weeks to completed and sent. Her coach called it the fastest behavioral shift in a decade.

12 → 94 Minutes of focus
23 → 4 Context switches/hr
3 weeks To behavioral shift

Privacy by Architecture

GameTape observes your work through macOS accessibility and makes sense of it on your own Mac — no picture of your screen reaches our servers. Only scrubbed text leaves, over an encrypted connection. Password managers, banking and private browsing are skipped in code. The tape is yours.

Your Coach Gets the Tape

Your coach receives a copy of every daily debrief and weekly synthesis. They walk into every session having already reviewed the tape. No more coaching blind.

We built GameTape because we were the founders who couldn't see our own blind spots. We had great coaches. We still told them a curated version of our weeks. Not because we were dishonest — because we genuinely couldn't see the patterns from inside them.

No one should have to coach blind. Not you, and not the person coaching you. The tape doesn't lie.

Straight answers.

GameTape runs as a lightweight menubar app on your Mac. Every few seconds it observes your work through the macOS accessibility layer — the same interface a screen reader uses — and works out your context with plain code running on your machine: what you're focused on, when you switch tasks, where patterns emerge. A handful of surfaces can't be observed that way, and for those it sends a single screenshot to our AI partner to be described in words. Coaching arrives based on established frameworks. It sees the work the way a coach watching film would: looking for patterns, not judging frames.

Nearly always, GameTape takes no picture at all — it observes your work through macOS accessibility and makes sense of it on your own Mac, then sends only scrubbed text over an encrypted connection. No picture of your screen ever reaches our servers. For the few surfaces accessibility can't describe, a single screenshot goes to Google Gemini, our AI partner, which describes it in words and neither retains nor trains on it; the image is then deleted. Password managers, banking and private browsing are skipped in code, and anything sensitive is scrubbed before it leaves. You own the tape, you control what gets observed, and you can pause anytime from the menubar. See exactly how →

No — it makes your coach dramatically more effective. GameTape gives both you and your coach the tape that human coaching has always been missing. Walk into your next session with real data instead of a curated narrative. The difference is the same as a stopwatch versus a coach.

Productivity tools track what you did. GameTape coaches you on why it matters. We don't show charts of hours and apps. We name the patterns — the Tuesday reactive loop, the avoidance behavior around your investor deck, the post-lunch conviction drop — and apply coaching frameworks to help you break them.

Your first coaching moment arrives within an hour. Within a week, GameTape surfaces multi-day patterns you've never been able to see. Within three weeks, most founders see a measurable shift in alignment between stated priorities and actual work.

You can't improve what you don't see.

The tape is waiting. Start reviewing yours.
